If you like the great outdoors Mesa County is probably the perfect place for you! The Colorado National Monument, the Bookcliffs, the Grand Mesa, Aspen, Telluride, 14ers, Moab, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, skiing, snowshoeing, camping, hunting, and fishing are all right in our backyard. It doesn't matter the season, the 'call of the wild' is constantly beckoning.
After an extensive nationwide search, our family moved to Grand Junction in 2001 to enjoy the outdoors 365 days of the year and we have not been disappointed. We have skied almost every resort in the state, ridden every road and mountain bike trail in the county, hiked, camped and climbed throughout Western Colorado and Moab and there are still hundreds of items on our 'to do' list. With one of the most amazing trail systems in the world, Mesa County allows you to get away from it all on a moments notice.
The Grand Junction area has a wonderful sense of community involvement and acceptance. Raising our family here has been an incredible experience. We have truly found our 'little piece of heaven'. Let us help you find yours.
